Luxaflex offers 160 different products in its roller blind range. And they all needed to be included in a product configurator to let consumers play with options and see how they look like in a virtually real setting. The client asked for four ‘inspiration rooms’ with nine different floor and wall colors, and visualize every product, by day and by night, from two different viewpoints.
We did the math and realized that a traditional rendering process would require 200,000+ high-resolution renders! Plan B involved using CG product and room assets in combination with Adobe Scene7, part of Adobe Experience Manager. By creating an extremely modular setup, we drastically drove down the number of renders needed to just 750.
