ROLE DESCRIPTION

We think our products are pretty cool, but they aren’t always easy to understand. In the ever-changing world of technology, we need to show that we are pushing creative boundaries while also making sure the people who use our products understand how they work and it means for them.

 

That’s where you come in. We are looking for an independent, creative and prolific Content Marketing Manager with a genuine interest in online trends, 3D technology and the latest interactive applications; and writing, tweeting, posting and chatting about it.

 

You should be able to quickly grasp and translate marketing concepts into effective communication of impeccable quality for multiple markets. Your texts will be in English, but you’ll need to be a chameleon in your writing to connect with tech experts, creatives, clients, and potential employees all at once to bring INDG’s content and social marketing strategies to life.

 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Content Marketing Manager will lead the writing, designing, and strategy definition of high-traffic blog content, lead-converting resources, and shareable project cases. You will support all marketing stakeholders, including demand generation, sales enablement, analyst relations and community management.

 

Goals include: attracting site traffic and social followers, driving new sales leads, empowering sales with relevant content to send prospects, and fueling PR and influencer relations. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Create regular content to be marketed via all inbound channels (social, email, blog, landing pages, etc.)

 

Write various types of articles (how-to, lists, thought leadership) on a wide range of topics for the blog

 

Grow blog subscribers and expand the blog’s overall reach

 

Create 1-2 free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, and awareness (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.)

 

Provide feedback to other contributors, and edit other writers’ content

 

Optimize content for search engines and lead generation

 

Contribute to long-form content projects, such as ebooks or whitepapers

Develop the strategy and processes to scale content output

 

Conduct analytical projects to improve our content strategy

 

Serve as an evangelist for our message, brand, and content through thought leadership, blogging, social media

 

Keep the team up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing

 

Collaborate with designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and our audience

 

Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every day

Requirements

MA/MSc degree or equivalent working experience

 

A native-level of spoken and written English

 

Proven experience in creating content for the web across several media types and formats — text, design, video, blog posts, podcasts, whitepapers, etc., as well as channel-specific knowledge — SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

 

Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adapt style, tone, and voice

 

A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions. Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data

An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies and tactics

 

Past experience building an audience online

 

Hands-on knowledge of online marketing techniques and tools, digital media and software

 

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts

 

2-3 years of marketing and content creation experience
